Why I Started LedgerGenie AI

I’m a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with more than 15 years of accounting experience and a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Finance.

Over the past eight years, I’ve also Built my own multi-million AUD in annual sales eCommerce business in Australia, giving me first-hand experience of the financial and operational challenges faced by online sellers.

Unlike many accountants who only advise eCommerce businesses, I’ve experienced the same marketplace settlements, inventory management, VAT compliance and bookkeeping challenges that my clients deal with every day.

That combination of professional accounting expertise and real-world business ownership allows me to provide practical bookkeeping solutions that are accurate, efficient and built for growth.

As the founder of LedgerGenie AI, my goal is simple—to combine AI automation, Link My Books and Xero with professional accounting knowledge so business owners can spend less time on bookkeeping and more time growing their businesses.

Outside work, I’m also a proud mum of two children, which has taught me the importance of organisation, efficiency and making every minute count. Those values are reflected in how I help my clients simplify their bookkeeping. When I’m not helping clients automate their bookkeeping, I’m spending time with my two children and keeping up with the latest developments in AI and cloud accounting.
